  •  OK, so I haven't blogged in a while, now I'm addicted to facebook.  I just wanted to post a few pictures, I am finally almost finished with my girls rooms.  Madison and Kayla share a room and theirs is done in flowers.  Lauren's room is done in frogs and polka dots.

  • I' m sorry I haven't posted in such a long time, but things have been busy around here.  My youngest, Lauren, has been taking gymnastics.  Here is a picture of her on the bars, she didn't like them very much she would usually grab the shirt of whoever was spotting her and hold on for dear life.  She didn't even care if she had let go of the bar, she would rather be holding onto someone.

She had a little trouble with somersaults also, she's starting to get it though!

She received a certificate for completing a six week class.

My older two daughters,  Madison and Kayla, are both playing soccer right now.

Kayla loves to pose for the camera.

I found out about a week and a half ago that there was going to be a father daughter dance at my girls school this past Friday.  They really wanted to go, so I decided to make them dresses.  Then a friend asked me if I could help her make dresses for her daughters, so in less than a week we made four dresses!  The girls looked beautiful though and they had a great time.
Sorry I couldn't figure out how to rotate the picture.

    A picture with dad!

Kayla once again posing for the camera!

  • My oldest daughter has a loose tooth, and we've been trying to pull it because she wants to be able to say "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"  It was getting pretty loose towards the end of the week, but I was still having trouble pulling it out.  She really wanted to lose it at school because if they lose a tooth they get to go down to the office and get a tooth necklace to put it in.

So this past Friday I had to do lunch in her classroom and we knew this would probably be our last opportunity to pull it out at school.  It was loose enough that it would be out by Monday, but it wasn't very easy to pull out.  I felt awful pulling it out, but she insisted that I keep trying.  Anyway, I was able to pull it out and she went down to the office to get her tooth necklace.  Here is a picture of her new smile!

Friday night she put the tooth under her pillow in anticipation of the tooth fairy finding it and leaving some money.  The next morning she came into our bedroom pretty upset because the tooth fairy didn't come!  OOPS!  So I got up right away, grabbed $1 and went into her bedroom to investigate....she looked around a little more and found that the tooth fairy left money, it was just inside her pillow case instead of under her pillow.

So now we put the tooth back under her pillow so that the tooth fairy can come get it tonight, I think she's hoping that the tooth fairy will leave more money when she comes for the tooth.  I also think it's kind of funny that she doesn't believe in Santa anymore, but she still believes in the tooth fairy even after all that!

  • Ok so I'm new to this weblogging and I really don't know what I'm doing.  I finally figured out to to add people as friends and how to change the backdrop on my site, but that's about as far as I've gotten.  It probably doesn't help that I get maybe 15 or 20 minutes a day to try to figure it out.  I hope you can all bear with me as I try to figure things out and get the hang of this.
